Breastfeeding Awareness Fundraising Event Aug 29!

La Leche League of South Seminole and East Orlando is hosting an awesome Breastfeeding Awareness Fundraising Event in celebration of World Breastfeeding Week THIS SATURDAY at

All community families are invited to attend our event on Saturday, August 29 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m!

We’ll have live music by local mom and dad team The Sunshines, a silent auction and raffle fundraiser, special activities, and delicious food! Fun for all members of the family!

We are offering amazing silent auction and raffle items. . . We truly believe that we have something that will appeal to every age!

A family ticket is $10 at the door, and, if you can name one benefit of breastfeeding, you’ll receive $3 off the admission price.

Hopscotch Boutique

Trendy, funky, and organic are things that come to mind when I think of Hopscotch Boutique in Orlando! I just happened upon this boutique when on a drive to downtown, the hopscotch etched sidewalk lured me in.

The warm welcome is continued once inside. It offers the tiniest customers a complimentary juice bar and picnic table so Mom can shop. If you are lucky enough the owner Nikki will be there to greet you.

On to the goods, where do I begin…they carry everything from shoes, to clothing, maternity clothes, nursing covers, baby wraps, and diaper creme! They carry unique brands not found elsewhere such as Zutano, Luna Luna, Wes and Willy and many more.

So what makes them green? The fact that they carry nursing tops, slings, and Hooter Hiders is plenty! But, they also carry unique organic baby brands. You can find Earth Mama Angel Baby balms, butter, and lotions, organic swaddling blankets, clothes, and wraps.

Hopscotch Boutique can be found in Orlando’s Antique and Design District at 1620 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32802. They are closed on Sunday’s.
