Today I drove by the site and banner and went online to look up the details for e-waste recycling on Saturday. Cool!
In honor of National Arbor Day, the City will host an electronic waste collection and tree give-a-way on Saturday, April 4, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Orlando Festival Park (2911 E. Robinson Street). Keep Orlando Beautiful and the City’s Parks Division will be collecting old electronics and giving away 1,000 trees on a first come first, first served basis.
This collection and tree giveaway is for City residents, so participants will need to bring identification or an OUC bill for proof of residency. For more information on the event, electronics accepted and trees, please visit click here.
